2nd Team Vs Spinney Hill 2
The 2nd team travelled to Spinney
Hill this week for the return match, the last one ended in a draw.
However the Syston team were confident given their recent win against
Littlethorpe 6. The evening started poorly with Spinney Hill winning
on board 1. The evening then started to turn in the visitors favour
with Ron King securing a draw on board 3. This meant that we needed
to win the remaining two boards to take the match. We did just that
with Stuart Hollingworth first winning a tough game on board 2 and
Liz Gist finishing last as usual with a win on board 4. Final result
2.5-1.5 to Syston 2. |
